Your Yale University Chemistry CourseThe goal of this article is to help you with your Yale University Chemistry class. It will walk you through the right path for the past history and current state of the planet.I'll be focusing on the actual class material in class, not the theory that is generally required for this class. Hopefully this information will help you learn the material well enough to get through the class.You're probably wondering what you need to know about our planet. It's pretty simple really. Our planet was formed from a small planet orbiting a massive star. The rocky core began to collapse into itself, eventually creating the core we see today.The star system expanded over time and the planet grew and evolved. As the planet cooled and grew it became covered with layers of atmosphere, rock, and ice. A layer of material known as the crust formed, forming a dome or sphere around the inner core.The oceanic crust is also where you are likely to find diamonds, since the y are found only in water. The oceanic crust also contains much of the world's uranium and potassium and iron, and potassium and boron.One interesting tidbit of information that came out of our study of the early scientists of Earth is that the early meteorites formed in the same way the planet did. This has led to much research into how meteorites are formed in space.A few things that have been taught in class include: how uranium was created, how the diamond was formed, how the ocean crust formed, and how our planet is located in the solar system. The professor takes the period in the beginning of the class when the Earth formed and then expounds how the parent stars affected our planet's formation. He gives you a good deal of background information about our sun and where it came from.Just be sure to understand the material in class. By the end of class you should be able to answer any questions you may have. Hopefully this gives you an idea of what you should expect from this cl ass.
